Why Can’t I Be Who I Am?

It’s clearly better than who you are… I wish I knew what makes people think in their heads that I’m wrong. Everything I do is wrong. Who I choose to be is wrong. What I want in life is wrong. Yet all their decisions are perfectly okay and how they choose to live is okay. So here they are trying to change me. To make me feel that I’m worthless as I am and I need to be more like them to be worth something in the world. They insult me, tease me, threaten me, bully me. So how does that make me want to fit in with them? Why would I want to be a bully? Tormenting others and making them feel like a nobody so you’ll feel superior in life. So yeah, I like who I am. I like not fitting in with the popular crowd. I like being a pacifist and not getting into fights and beating each other up over petty bullshit like an idiot in dire need of a better working brain, no offense. I like cutting and styling my own hair in my own personal way. I like wearing T-shirts and jeans over anything else. I like doing my make-up “emo” and “gothic”. I like being loud and obnoxious. I like my heavy metal, post-hardcore, ‘screamo’, rock, etc. I like having random outbursts. I like bursting out into song when I’m listening to a song I know all too well. I like going on random rants about things people probably don’t even care about. I like being strange to them. Because to me I’m normal and they’re strange.
